The planar flexible adapter for handling and implantation is particularly suitable for situations where there are errors in the planar position and posture of objects grasped or implanted by automatic handling mechanisms or quadcopters.The PAL series flexible adapter is particularly skilled in precision injection molding production of automotive electronic connectors. It automatically compensates or corrects the position errors, horizontal posture errors, and repetitive positioning errors of the four axis robot (automatic handling mechanism) after grasping, translating, and implanting the embedded injection mold production line (repair), greatly reducing the robot's precise position teaching time by more than 95%.


【 Instructions 】:

a. Install the flexible adapter on the automatic handling mechanism or the wrist of a four axis robot, and install a product handling fixture underneath it;

b. Pneumatic driven locking flexible adapter;

c. Automatic handling mechanism or quadcopter robot approaches the target area, removes air pressure, unlocks adapter, and grabs target parts;

d. The automatic handling mechanism or four axis robot disengages the parts from their positioning fixture, and then the air pressure drives the locking flexible adapter again;

e. Automatic handling mechanism or four axis robot moves to the area where the embedded mold is to be placed (implanted);

f. Unlocking the air pressure, the adapter flexibly fits the horizontal position and posture error between the insert and the mold, and the automatic handling mechanism or four axis robot smoothly inserts the insert into the mold.
